Japan IT festival to open in Hà Nội next week

VGP – Around 100 Vietnamese and Japanese IT enterprises operating in Việt Nam and 30 Japanese software firms are expected to participate in the "Japan Information Technology Festival 2008” scheduled on September 3-4 in Hà Nội.

Japan IT Festival 2008 can create more opportunities for market expansion – Illustration photo

The organizing board revealed that the Festival includes such activities as the Việt Nam-Japan IT Exhibition; talks between the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and the two countries’ software firms; three seminars on cooperation in IT human resource development, business and technology . 
There is an IT employment fair and a section to introduce training establishments of the two countries. During the event, the Vietnamese and Japanese have a lot of chances to meet and seek for partners
Especially, at the exhibition, many cultural activities will be held, such as the performances of gastronomic art, Japanese tea rituals, and Origami paper-folding art, the introduction of Japanese business culture, the presentation of cartoons and films about Japanese culture, the display of Vietnamese calligraphic works and Japanese cultural artifacts.
The Festival is an annual event organized by the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) and VINASA-Japan IT Cooperation Club (VJC); and sponsored by MIC, Japanese Embassy and the Japanese Foreign Trade Promotion Organization.

The Japan IT Festival 2008 is an activity in the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Việt Nam-Japan diplomatic relations.
