PM receives RoK’s Minister of Environment

VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Monday received Republic of Korea’s Minister of Environment Yoo Young-sook who is now in Vietnam to attend the 9th RoK-Vietnam Ministerial Meeting on Environment.

The PM highly valued the cooperative ties between the Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Korean Ministry of Environment, which contributes to the tow nations’ cooperation in all fields.

The Government chief affirmed that Vietnamese Government always supports cooperation between the two ministries and creates favorable conditions for them to promote their coordination.

Vietnam expects that RoK would help train human resources for environmental protection and response to climate change and sea level rise.

Korean Minister Yoo Young-sook informed the host leaders about the outcomes of the talks between the two ministers and the agenda of the 9th RoK-VN Ministerial Meeting on Environment. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in developing legal policies on the environment, environmental technologies, human resources development and management capacity improvement.
