IFAD founds representative office in VN

VNGOP – Acting on behalf of the PM, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm agreed on June 13 the establishment of a representative office of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Vietnam.

The Deputy PM entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to closely cooperate with the ministries of Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development and other relevant agencies in negotiating with IFAD about the draft agreement between Vietnam and IFAD on the founding of IFAD's Vietnam-based representative office and submitting it to the PM for consideration and approval.
