Điện Biên to adopt a project on SOS village

VNGOP – Cosidering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM agreed on June 6 that the People's Committee of Điện Biên Province will take over a project on constructing an SOS Village in Điện Biên Phủ. The project is granted with a nonrefundable aid of VND 43,562,400,000 by the International SOS. The corresponding capital of VND 13,080,284,950 is allocated from the province's annual budget in line with the Law on State Budget.

The PM assigned leaders of the Điện Biên Province People's Committee to sign the project with the donor and put it into reality under current regulations on managing and using foreign non-governmental funds.
