Party’s 82nd anniversary celebrated nationwide

Art performance in Hà Nội marks the 82nd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam

Addressing a celebration in Thái Nguyên province, National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Sinh Hùng highlighted that CPV’s foundation marked a milestone in Việt Nam’s revolutionary history.

Over the past 82 years, under the sound leadership of the CPV, Vietnamese people have achieved independence and reaped great achievements in the renewal process to build a more prosperous state, he said.

The NA Chairman treasured the efforts of the province’s authorities and people in upholding the revolutionary tradition and taking the initiative to fully tap its potential for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, as well as gaining achievements in all fields.

Mr. Hùng called upon the northern mountain province to renovate its growth model and shift the economic structure by increasing the ratio of industry production and services, developing agriculture and forestry in association with building new rural areas, promote its exemplary role model campaigns and become an industrial, educational and training centre in the northern mountain region.

The same day, the southern provinces of Quảng Ngãi, Khánh Hòa, Bình Định and Bình Thuận also held meetings to celebrate the CPV’s 82nd anniversary./.
