To put into reality VN-China agreement on GMS
VNGOP – The PM delivered his directions on May 29 over the realization of the Vietnam-China Memorandum of Understanding to implement the agreement on facilitating passenger and cargo transport amongst the Greater Mekong Subregion countries (GMS Agreement) at the Lào Cai-Hekou border gates.

Accordingly, the PM ordered the ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Health to train their staff, draft instructive documents and install necessary facilities at the Lào Cai International Border-gate to realize the GMS Agreement in line with the MoU signed on March 20, 2007 in Beijing by Vietnam and China.
The Lào Cai Province People's Committee was assigned to make the project on cargo checking ground at the border gate and direct the relevant units within the province in fulfilling the GMS Agreement.
