VN Parliamentary Friendship Organization debuted

The Việt Nam Parliamentary Friendship Organization made debut on November 23 in Hà Nội

NA Vice Chairwoman Tòng Thị Phóng was elected head of the Organization, which consists of 46 parliamentary friendship groups around the world.

 At the inauguration ceremony, Mrs. Phóng said she hoped NA deputies will make practical contributions to the NA’s external relations, and foreign diplomats in Việt Nam will help strengthen the ties between the Vietnamese NA and people with foreign counterparts.

The Organization will hold meetings for NA deputies and foreign parliamentarians to exchange information and enhance mutual understanding about the operation of the top legislative bodies, thus helping boost the relations between states and people-to-people exchanges in terms of politics, economy, culture…
