DPM welcomes German guest

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Hoàng Trung Hải on August 31 warmly welcomed Mr. Michael Boddenberg, Hessen State Minister (Germany) who is on a working visit to Việt Nam for business opportunities.

The Deputy Prime Minister said Việt Nam always hopes to cement the cooperative ties with Hessen State, which is a leading financial, economic and educational hub of Germany and the Europe.

Mr. Hải hailed the newly-signed agreement between Hessen State and the State Bank of Việt Nam on financial statistics, economics, and manpower training.

The host leader proposed Hessen State authorities push up the bilateral coordination in such areas as technical and infrastructure, manufacturing industry, agro-processing, forestry, fishery, and mineral processing.

Minister Michael Boddenberg expressed his interest and aspiration to shake hands with Việt Nam in the fileds like finance, banking, education and training.

He went on to say that more Hessen State businesses have engaged in industrial, mechanical and energy sector in Việt Nam.

He also pointed to large opportunities for Vietnamese players to open up investment contracts in Hessen State and enter European markets, citing an example of the Việt Nam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank) which would open a branch in Frankfurt in the coming time./.
