Judicial organs should be well-staffed

VNGOVNet – State President Nguyễn Minh Triết stressed that in his working session with central judicial agencies (Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Justice, People’s Supreme Prosecutors' Office, People’s Supreme Court) in the morning of December 27.

In 2006, the judicial branch was dealing with a variety of major issues with foreign element while they were not equipped with full knowledge of international laws.

The People’s Supreme Prosecutors' Office and the Ministry of Justice suggested to issue an interdisciplinary ordinance to unify different viewpoints on judgment execution. They pointed to the fact that all organs in the branch reported sound fulfillment of their duties despite unsolved issues.

Addressing the working session, President Nguyễn Minh Triết listed a series of issues to be dealt with by the sector in the time to come. The President required them to set out measures for traffic accidents and not to let the current serious situation prolong. Pointing to the flaw in executing civil judgments, he stressed that the judicial agencies must face the reality and collaborate each other to solve problems.

President Nguyễn Minh Triết also called the judicial branch' attention to training for integration. He said otherwise, Vietnam will fail in foreign-related disputes.
