It also describes the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense’s preparatory work and organization of the meetings; reports related events; and introduce the country and people of Việt Nam in general and the Việt Nam People’s Army in particular.

It was reported that the Ministry of National Defense will preside over the ASEAN meetings on military cooperation throughout Việt Nam’s year of presidency 2010.
