WB helps VN improve Law on public investment

VGP – The Ministry of Planning and Investment, the National Assembly’s Committee for Economic Affairs cooperated with the World Bank on March 12 to organize a Conference garnering comments for the completion of the Law on Public Investment.

The draft Law has institutionalized the deciding process of investment, which is considered as the renovation in the Law.

Besides, it also stipulates the assessing work of capital flow, with the aim of increasing the quality and effectiveness of public programs and projects.

Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee said it is necessary to increase the investment efficiency of projects to a higher level.

Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh affirmed that the establishment of mid-term investment in the phase of five years in the draft is suitable.
