Volunteer Festival 2014 launched in HN
VGP - The Viet Nam Volunteer Festival 2014 was kicked off on December 6 in Ha Noi with the participation of around 10,000 volunteers from nearly 100 Vietnamese and foreign organizations.

Under the theme “I love Viet Nam,” the festival consisted of meaningful activities including a large-scale blood donation, targeting to collect 2,500 units of blood; a program against domestic violence, a communication campaign against human trafficking, and a charity event for mountainous children.
On the occasion, organisations and individuals with great contributions to voluntary blood donations were honoured.
The 20-year old Association of Youth Blood Donor Recruiters received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister while 10 outstanding volunteers in the north was also presented with merit certificates in recognition of their contributions in volunteer activities in 2014./.
