Voice of Vietnam benefits from Dannish-funded project

VNGOVNet – Considering the recommendation from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and acting on behalf of the PM, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm has agreed in principle that Voice of Vietnam (VOV) will benefit from a project funded by the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA).

January 26, 2007 8:17 AM GMT+7

The project "Support to VOV in producing and broadcasting entertainment and educational programs designed to change HIV/AIDS behaviors” financed by UNFPA has a total nonrefundable grant of DKK 4,997,913 (equivalent to US$ 768,910) to come from the Danish Government. Its corresponding capital is taken from the annual budget of the radio station in accordance with the Law on State Budget.

As assigned by Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm, VOV will be in charge of completing and signing documents with the sponsor as well as implementing the project in compliance to the current regulations.
