Viettel tops in Brand Finance Top 50 Viet Nam Brands Report 2019

VGP - Viettel Group, Viet Nam's largest mobile network operator, tops the list of the Brand Finance Top 50 Viet Nam Brands Report 2019 with a brand value of more than US$4.3 billion. 

The brand value of Viettel witnessed an increase of 20% or US$1.5 billion compared to 2018, three times higher than the runner-up and equal to the total brand value of three following bands in the list. 

This is the second successive year Viettel has taken the lead in the ranking. 

Viettel continues the sole Vietnamese brand and one of eight brands in the Southeast Asia in the Brand Finance Global 500 report on the world's most valuable brands. 

The highly appreciation in Viettel’s brand thanks to its high growth in 10 overseas markets as well as its achievements in crucial sectors such as telecommunications, high-tech defense industry, electronic telecommunications and cyber security. 

Samir Dixit, Managing Director of Brand Finance in Asia Pacific said that Viet Nam’s brands in the top 10 are creating 68% of the brand value of the nation’s top 50. The brand value is regarded as an aspect to promote the business value for enterprises. 

The Brand Finance Top 50 Viet Nam Brands Report 2019 meets requirements of the ISO 10668 Brand valuation -- Requirements for monetary brand valuation is a specification by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for the procedures and methods of measuring the value of a brand.

Brand Finance specializes in Brand Valuation and the valuation of Intangible Assets. Its reports will be officially announced on the world’s renowned channels such as BBC, CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, The Economist and The Wall street Journal.
