Viettel has poured more than US$2 billion for overseas investment, of which 50% was disbursed, announcing the profit of US$516 million, accounting for 45% of the invested capital.

2018 was a successful year for Viettel as revenue from its overseas market grew by 20 %. The number of its subscribers was up 70% from the previous year, bringing US$240 million revenue to Viet Nam, increasing 3% from 2017.
