Vietnamese top legislator begins UAE tour
VGP – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation arrived in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for the 11th Global Summit of Women Speakers of Parliament.

The visit was made at the invitation of President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Saber Chowdhury and President of the Federal National Council of the UAE Amal Al Qubaisi.
The NA Chairwoman was welcomed by Ms. Afra Al Busti, a parliamentarian of the UAE Parliament and Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE Pham Binh Dam.
The Vietnamese delegation’s participation in the Summit aims to promote the NA’s role and position at regional and global parliamentary forums and at the same time affirms the policy on gender equality pursued by the Party and State./.
