Vietnamese standards applied for gasoline products
VNGOVNet – The PM has just give his opinions on the application of Vietnamese standards for petrol and oil in accordance with the List of Products and Goods for Quality Test issued attached to Decision 50/2006/QĐ-TTg dated on March 7, 2006 by the PM.
Accordingly, the PM assigned the Ministry of Science and Technology to act as the main implementer, in collaboration with the ministries of Resources and Environment, and Transport, in issuing specific technical standards on hygiene, safety, health and environment for gasoline products and in designing a proper roadmap to apply exhaust standards EURO 2 for power-driven means of transport issued attached to Decision 249/2005/QĐ-TTg dated on October 10, 2005 by the PM. The implementation must be reported to the PM.
The Ministry of Science and Technology was also required to promptly realize the PM’s direction, clarify scientific reasons for the pause of the circulation of petrol RON 83, and report on the delayed realization of the PM’s direction in this field.
