Vietnamese prawns regain foothold in Japan
VGP - Shipments of Vietnamese prawns and shrimps continue to head for the Japanese market after the ban in using antibiotic Enrofloxacin in raising them has been strictly enforced since March 1.
Since the beginning of this year, Vietnamese seafood association warned farmers not to use Enrofloxacin to treat prawns or shrimps infected with diseases.
Japan is now Việt Nam’s biggest prawn importer.
