Vietnam Lawyers' Association project included in official funding list
VNGOP – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in Document 3574/VPCP-QHQT, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng agreed on June 29 to add the Project "Supporting the Vietnam Lawyers' Association (VNLA) to provide legal assistance to disadvantaged social groups, especially ethnic minorities in two mountain provinces in Vietnam" into the official funding list. The Project is provided by the Southeast Asia Regional Cooperation in Human Development (SEARCH), a subsidiary of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), with a nonrefundable aid.

The PM required the VNLA to adopt recommendations from the Ministry of Finance in Document 7263/BTC (June 4, 2007), Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Document 1912-CM (June 7, 2007) and the Ministry of Justice in Document 2631/BTP (June 14, 2007) while assessing, approving, managing and implementing the Project according to the stipulations in Decree 131/2006/NĐ-CP on the management and use of official development aid.
