Vietnam Expo 2019 underway

VGP – The Viet Nam International Trade Fair 2019 (Vietnam Expo 2019) was launched on April 10 in Ha Noi, drawing 500 enterprises from 23 countries and territories.

The exhibition showcased good products and provided business chances for both domestic and foreign enterprises.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai stressed that the annual Vietnam Expo has become an important trade promotion event for Viet Nam’s industry and trade sectors, and gained considerable prestige among domestic and international corporations.

Under the theme “Viet Nam Expo-Enhancing Regional & Global Economic Links”, the exhibition comprised about 600 booths of 500 enterprises from 23 countries and territories. In addition, 11 booths belonged to trade promotion centers of HCMC, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Binh Thuan, Hai Duong, Quang Nam, Yen Bai, Khanh Hoa, and Nghe An.

A series of products are on display, including machinery and equipment for the supporting industry, electronic goods, agricultural products, and food and beverages, among others.

Especially, the Viet Nam-Korea Design Centre’s pavilion highlights the significance of design in product development, and popularizes high-quality products with excellent designs.

On occasion, other activities will take place including a Viet Nam-Russia business forum, a seminar on “Branding – A big step for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises”, and business matching booths.

The expo will last till April 13 at Ha Noi International Exhibition Centre./.
