PM Dũng made the statement at Vietnam Airlines’ (VNA) official SkyTeam Joining Ceremony on June 10 in Hà Nội.

In the Southeast Asia Region, VNA is the only carrier that was granted with the membership of SkyTeam.

The Airlines has built its solid position and confirmed its contributions to the socio-economic economic development in Việt Nam as well as on the international arena.

As a member of SkyTeam, the national flag carrier has a unique chance to consolidate its prestige and produce better services for both domestic and outbound flights.

The Government chief took the occasion to urge the business circle to utilize benefits in terms of financial resources, technologies, management skills, and market share that are brought back from the current dominant integration. He reaffirmed that the Government will always advocate and create favorable conditions for them in that context.

He hoped that VNA would continue to attain greater achievements and bring Việt Nam’s impressive images and friendship, and beautiful cultural values to the outside world.

Now, VNA is operating 75 different flight routes to 20 domestic and other 26 international locations with 290 flights a day.
