Vietjet opens two new international routes

VGP - Low-cost Vietnamese carrier Vietjet has announced from June 22, it will open two international routes connecting Ha Noi - Taichung (Chinese Taiwan) and Da Nang – Daegu (the Republic of Korea).

Accordingly, the Ha Noi – Taichung flights will operate five return flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from June 22 this year with flight times of around two and a half hours per leg.

The flight will depart from Ha Noi at 13:00 and arrive in Taichung at 16:30 (local time), while the return flight will take off at 17:30 (local time) from Taichung and land in Ha Noi at 19:20 (local time).

The Da Nang – Daegu route will offer return flights from July 19 this year with travel time around four hours and 15 minutes per leg. The flight will depart from Da Nang at 00:15 and arrive in Daegu at 6:30 (local time). The return flight will depart from Daegu at 7:30 and arrive in Da Nang at 10:00 (local time).

With the launch of the new routes, Vietjet has become the airline providing the largest number of routes connecting Viet Nam and Chinese Taiwan.

Vietjet’s flight network has now expanded to more than 20 routes connecting Ha Noi and major destinations in Viet Nam and Asia such as the Republic of Korea, Bangkok, Taipei, meeting the increasing air travel demand of passengers.

Currently, the airline has a fleet of 40 A320 and A321 aircraft, and over 350 daily flights. It has opened 53 routes, including those to Thailand, Singapore, the Republic of  Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, China and Myanmar.
