Vietjet Air opens HCMC-Pattaya route

VGP - VietJet Air, the Best Ultra Low Cost Airline for 2020 has officially launched a direct route linking HCMC and Pattaya of Thai Land from December 23 with one flight a day.

The U-Tapao – Ho Chi Minh City service will be operated daily starting from December 23, 2019.

The daily flight departs from U-tapao at 11:25 and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 12:55, and the return flight takes off from Ho Chi Minh City at 13:25 and lands U-tapao at 14:40. 

To celebrate the new route, more than 100,000 super-saving tickets priced from just THB0 (Excluding taxes, fees) are given away for 4 days of special promotion during December 2-5, 2019.

Vietjet group will have operated a total of 8 routes including Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Da Lat, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong and direct services from Phuket, Chiang Mai to Ho Chi Minh City, plus the new route U-Tapao to Ho Chi Minh City.

The opening of the new air route is expected to boost the number of tourists  travelling among HCMC and Vietnamese southern provinces with Rayong and Pattava, the famous maritime tourism destinations of Thailand. 

Pattaya, a beach city about 90 minutes south of Bangkok, is one of the top tourist cities not only among foreign visitors but also local people./.
