Vietfood & Beverage – ProPack 2017 to be held

VGP - The Vietfood and Beverage - Propack International Exhibition will be held at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City from August 9-12.

The event is organized annually by Viet Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company-Vinexad in collaborations of local Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Food Standards Committee (CODEX Viet Nam) as well as local and overseas associations, Foreign Trade Promotion in Viet Nam, provinces and cities.

The exhibition features more than 500 businesses from 20 countries and territories, which are presenting to visitors products in sectors, including food and beverage, machines and equipment, packing and food preservation; franchise.

Among participants, local companies take half of them with potential products such as tea, coffee, beverage, processed agricultural products, fruits and dried fruits.

The Vietfood and Beverage - Propack international exhibition was first held in 1996. After 19 exhibitions witnessing significant and rapid changes in the market, from initial purpose of serving consumers’ basic needs, the Food and Beverage industry has now become a sector with considerable market share accounting for 15% of GDP, and it will continue to grow.
