Vietbuild Int’l Exhibition 2020 held

The exhibition features nearly 1,800 booths from more than 400 exhibitors, including major brands such as Viglacera, Secoin, Dat Viet Pottery, Dong Nai Brick and Tile, Sado Germany Window, Apollo Silicone, Phuong Nam Steel, Eurowindow and Truong Phat, and others.

The five-day events are diverse in form, including electrical appliances, LED lights, doors and door accessories, solar power systems, elevators, water purifiers, protective suits, water heaters, and hand tools.

It is one of the first expos held this year and many other Vietbuild exhibitions with different themes will be held in the country’s four biggest cities of Ha Noi, HCM City, Can Tho, and Da Nang during 2020.

On display are building materials, electrical equipment, interior and exterior decorative items, hygiene equipment, doors and door accessories, paint, water purifiers, and hand tools, among others, with many new models and improved features and quality that meet the rising requirements from customers for environmentally-friendly products.

In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh stated that in recent times, the Government has implemented an array of measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, stabilise and develop the economy, and support businesses and people.

The Vietbuild exhibition is a practical and specific activity to assist enterprises in the fields of construction, real estate and housing, he said, adding that the event aims to strengthen trade promotion and international integration, thus promptly bringing businesses back to a new normal in order to revive and develop their production and business activities.

Within the framework of the Vietbuild 2020 exhibition, several thematic workshops will be held under the themes “Innovative technologies and materials in the post-COVID construction industry” and “Gel Coat FRP plastic roofingsheets”, in addition to a business forum and a customer conference.

According to the organising committee, the products being introduced at Vietbuild 2020 have many superior functions compared to the 2019 exhibition and apply technological solutions in the context of socio-economic development following Industry 4.0 trends. This is an opportunity for businesses to discuss and learn about new products, as well as signing contracts with partners.

It is co-organised by the Ministry of Construction’s Information Centre and the VIETBUILD ConstructionInternational Exhibition Organisation Corp. and is open until June 28./.
