Viet Nam grants US$2.5 million, medical supplies to support Laos in COVID-19 fight
VGP – Viet Nam has decided to provide an emergency aid of US$2.15 million and medical supplies for Laos to support the neighbor’s combat against the latest wave of COVID-19, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung at a ceremony held on October 25.

He hoped the assistance from Viet Nam can make a practical contribution to Laos’ fight against COVID-19.
He took the occasion to thank the Lao Government for caring for the Vietnamese community in Laos, including launching a drive to vaccinate them against the coronavirus.
