Vice State President receives Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture

VGP – Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh hosted a reception for Governor Yuji Kuroiwa of Kanagawa Prefecture on November 18 in Ha Noi.

The Vice State President said she was convinced that the working visit of the Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture would contribute to boosting the friendship with Vietnamese localities especially in investment, labor, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people exchanges. 

Vice State President Thinh underlined that the Viet Nam-Japan relations have been growing comprehensively. Japan is one of Viet Nam’s leading partners, the biggest ODA provider for Viet Nam, and important partner. 

The host leader praised the Governor for spurring the growing relations between Kanagawa prefecture and Vietnamese localities especially via the launch of the Kanagawa festival in Viet Nam. 

She took the occasion to proposed Mr. Yuji Kuroiwa encourage local enterprises invest in their fields of strength such as processing industry, trade, service, agro-forestry-fishery sector.

The Vice State President also vowed that Viet Nam stands ready to create favorable ways for Kanagawa prefecture investors to do long-term business here. 

On the other hand, Ms. Thinh hoped that Mr. Yuji Kuroiwa would continue to create favorable ways for the overseas Vietnamese community to integrate into the local society. 

In reply, Governor Yuji Kuroiwa promised to spare no effort to promote practical cooperation and strengthen understanding among respective people.

The guest leader also underlined his backing for Kanagawa prefecture and Ha Noi to host Kanagawa festival./.
