Vice State President receives Australia Victoria Governor

VNGOP – Vice President Trương Mỹ Hoa had a reception in May 16 in Hanoi to a visiting delegation from Victoria (Australia) headed by Governor David De Krepser.

The Governor highly spoke of the friendship and cooperation between Australia and Vietnam in many fields. He expressed his desire to promote the cooperation between Victoria and Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities.

Vice State President Trương Mỹ Hoa thanked the Australian Government for official development aid (ODA) to Vietnam and asserted that these ODA projects have been considerably contributed to the fulfillment of socio-economic development goals in Vietnam.

The Vice President stressed that the potentialities for bilateral cooperation are great, especially in economy, trade, investment, education, tourism and labor. She asked the ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries to further boost cooperation programs with a view to making full use of these potentialities for the sake of common interests, peace, stability and cooperation. Vietnam always allows a consistent policy to encourage and creating the best conditions and environment for Australian investors and businesses to operate in Vietnam, said the Vice President.
