Many overseas Vietnamese want more information channels

The Vietnamese Nationals’ Association in the UK highly spoke of the Việt Nam Television’s show “Meeting the audience of VTV4” which has provided useful information of the country to the Vietnamese community abroad.

The debut of this show was made on April 16, 1998 to serve oversea Vietnamese and international friends. Over the past decade, under the collaboration of many Vietnamese nationals in Africa, Oceania, Europe, and North America, 536 shows of 20-25 minutes each have been broadcast on every Sunday and repeated on Wednesday.

According to The Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden, the show has become a trustful channel for overseas Vietnamese to learn about the fatherland’s realities as well as the State’s policies.
