VN-Uruguay agreement on visa exemption comes into effect this month
VNGOP - The agreement between Việt Nam and the Eastern Republic of the Uruguay on visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders will comes into effect on June 15, 2008, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Accordingly, the two countries will grant their respective citizens, who hold diplomatic and official passports, with the visa exemption for temporary residence of less than 90 days.
Members of diplomatic and consulate bodies or the delegations of international organizations, and their families, are also exempted from visa if they hold diplomatic or official passports.
The agreement was signed by the two Governments on November 19, 2007 in Hà Nội.
