VN-Laos cultural exchange festival to be organized

VGP – Nine Vietnamese provinces and 10 Lao provinces at border areas will participate in the second culture, sports and tourism exchange festival day in the northern province of Son La of Viet Nam.

The information was released on June 27 at a press conference by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

With the theme “deepening the special friendship relations between Viet Nam and Laos”, the event will be organized from July 5-7, aiming to introduce and advertise the advantages of culture, sports and tourism and cultural heritages of the localities to the world.

Localities will bring cultural products and traditional food to the event. An exhibition on photos of people and potentials in nine Vietnamese provinces sharing border lines with Laos will also be displayed.

Nine Vietnamese provinces include Son La, Dien Bien, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam and Kon Tum and 10 Lao provinces of Luang Prabang,Huaphanh, Attapeu, Sekong, Xiengkhuang, Borikhamxay,Khammouan, Savannakhet, Saravane and Phongsaly.
