Hailing Japanese PM Abe’s official visit to Viet Nam in early 2017, the Government chief appraised the achievements and success gained during the visit, expressing his thanks to the Japanese Ambassador and Embassy for their contribution to the success of the Japanese PM’s visit.

Viet Nam is actively preparing for the Japanese Emperor and Empress’ upcoming State visit to Viet Nam, regarding it as a memorable hallmark in the two nations’ relationship, he added.

The PM expected that high-ranking visits in 2017 will enable Viet Nam-Japan relations to achieve outstanding and realistic developments for the sake of both sides’ people.

For his side, Ambassador Kunio Umede reported to the PM the coordination with Vietnamese relevant agencies for the future visit of the Japanese Emperor and Empress as well as the preparation for the large-scale investment promotion program in Viet Nam, which will attract the participation of around 1,000 Japanese businesses.

PM Phuc and Ambassador Kunio Umede also exchanged issues of international and regional concerns.
