VN-Indonesia Joint Committee to convene 4th session in April
VNGOVNet – On the proposal of the Ministry of Trade, the PM agreed on March 22 that Trade Minister Trương Đình Tuyển will head a Vietnamese working team to Indonesia where they collaborate with the Indonesian partners in organizing the 4th meeting of the Vietnam-Indonesia Joint Committee in Jakarta from April 04-06, 2007 and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on rice trade between the two countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was ordered to fulfill all diplomatic procedures to authorize Trade Minister Trương Đình Tuyển, acting on behalf of the Vietnamese Government, to sign the MoU with the authorized Indonesian representatives.
The relevant ministries and sectors should promote and report the cooperation with Indonesia over the past time. They should also put forward orientations and methods for the further cooperation and submit these to the Ministry of Trade and the Government Office before March 31, 2007 to serve drafting the Minute of the 4th session of the Vietnam-Indonesia Joint Committee.
