VN-Hungary Friendship Association convenes fourth congress

The congress elected a 46-member executive board headed by Nguyen Dang Vang, former vice chairman of the NA Committee for Science, Technology and Environment.

Addressing the event, Vice President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organisations Nguyen Thi Hoang Van highlighted the association’s contribution to the development of the Viet Nam-Hungary relationship.

She urged the association to continue enhancing its connections with Hungary-based friends, partners and Vietnamese communities, acting as a bridge between the two countries and their peoples.
 
The Hungarian Ambassador to Viet Nam congratulated the congress on its success and affirmed the embassy will actively work with the VHFA to develop relations between the two peoples.
 
On the occasion, VUFO representatives also conferred the “For Friendship and Peace among nations” insignia on some members of the association for their active contributions to people-to-people diplomacy.
