VND 500 million added for project to take care of disabled children
VNGOP – The PM just signed on May 02 Decision 536/QĐ-TTg on ratifying the project to give meals, health care and functional rehabilitation treatment to disabled children at the first center of the Vietnam Association for Protection and Support of Children with Disabilities (VAPSCD).

The project aims to help children with disabilities reduce sufferings, improve health and integrate into the community. Accordingly, two meals will be offered daily to disabled children who experience medical treatment and functional rehabilitation at the first center. Surgical treatment and other non-medical therapies will be provided. The Association's staff are also provided with training.
Under the Decision, in 2007, the Ministry of Finance will grant an additional VND 500 million to implement the project. Since 2008 on, the Ministry will collaborate with the VAPSCD to make annual estimates.
The VAPSCD is ordered to mobilize other legal funds to fruitfully realize the project.
