The Chairwoman also acknowledged and hailed initiatives of the youths.

For his part, Mr. Zhang Dejiang welcomed the successful festival in Viet Nam.

He hoped that via the official visit to Viet Nam he would contribute to cementing and deepening the friendship and promoting practical cooperation and the comprehensive strategic partnership.

The Party and Government of China always give a priority to and support the Viet Nam-China youth exchange, the Chinese Chairman added.

He also called on the youths to seize opportunities of the bilateral ties on tourism, overseas studying, and businesses to consolidate mutual understanding and serve as a bridge to narrow down the bilateral gap.
