For his part, Minister Stefan Radu Opera briefed about the outcomes of his earlier meetings with Vietnamese officials, including Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh.

He expressed his belief that both sides still have great potential to lift up the two-way trade value to US$500 million in the near future from the current US$200 million.

The Romanian official pledged to accelerate cooperation with Viet Nam in such fields like expressway and hospital development and welcome Vietnamese workers to the European country.

The same day, PM Phuc also received French lawyer William Bourdon who has extended active support to the Viet Nam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin./.
