VN willing to help Laos in home affairs, State administration

VGP – Viet Nam is willing to assist and share experience with the Lao side in home affairs, State administration and public service, affirmed PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc at his reception for Lao Minister of Home Affairs Khammanh Sounvileuth on July 9 in Ha Noi.

At the meeting, PM Phuc expressed his delight on the outcomes of the working session between the two Ministries of Home Affairs on the occasion of the Lao Minister’s visit to Viet Nam. 

Khammanh Sounvileuth said that his visit to Viet Nam aims to learn and exchange experience on the organization and streamlining of the State apparatus, improvement of the public servants’ capacity and consolidating the local authorities, expecting the two ministries to continue enhancing cooperation in related fields to make practical contributions to the two nations’ relationship. 

For his side, PM Phuc hoped that the two sides will promote cooperation and discussion on issues relevant to policies and apparatus, adding that the Vietnamese Government is ready to support the Lao side in training and consider providing more assistance for upgrading infrastructures.
