The Vietnamese Government chief made the point on March 29 in Seoul at a roundtable seminar with the Korean business community during his official visit to the East Asian country.

The seminar brought together RoK Minister of Knowledge Economy Suk Woo Hong and 50 Korean leading corporations.

The Korean businesses highly spoke of Việt Nam’s pilot customs services, the ongoing administrative reform, abundant workforce resource and economic potentials.

Addressing the seminar, PM Dũng said that Việt Nam attaches importance to developing regional linkages, of which the RoK is placed the top priority.

According to PM Dũng, there are around 3,000 RoK-invested projects worth of US$24 billion in Việt Nam. The RoK is one of the biggest ODA providers and trade partners of Việt Nam.

The Vietnamese Government chief also briefed the Korean businesses about Việt Nam’s new economic growth model.

He also proposed them partake in such areas as infrastructure, high-tech, processing industry, energy, green growth projects and renewable energy consumption where the RoK has advantages.

The Vietnamese Government leader committed to perfecting the investment environment and focusing on macro-economic stability, maintenance of appropriate growth rate, inflation curbing and business incentives for foreign investors.

The same day, the PM met with CEOs of Dong Yang, Samsung, Taekwang Power Holdings./.
