Việt Nam and the Czech Republic, the Head of State assessed, enjoy fine traditional ties. In their struggle for national independence, the Vietnamese people received valuable support and assistance from the Czech Republic. And now, in its causes of national construction and development, Việt Nam wants to bolster comprehensive cooperation with the Central European country in such fields as economics, trade and investment.

In addition, the Vietnamese people who were trained in the Czech Republic will bridge the gap and reinforce cooperation between the two nations. Meanwhile, Czech entrepreneurs are welcomed not only as investors but also as friends of the Vietnamese people.

Hailing EGAP projects in Việt Nam, the Vietnamese State President expressed his aspiration that more and more Czech investors would choose the Southeast Asian country as their business destination.

The Vietnamese Government has spared no effort to perfect the investment climate and ensure equality for all investors, confirmed the host.

The EGAP Chairman took the occasion to brief the host leader about his company’s major projects in Việt Nam, namely the Phú Sơn Cement Corporation and the Hà Nội-Hải Phòng Highway.

According to Mr. Karel Pleva, EGAP is extremely interested in cooperative projects between the two countries and commits to do its utmost for the success of these projects./.
