Main activities include IT exhibitions, seminars, international job fair, and meetings among local and foreign IT enterprises to explore cooperation opportunities.

Under the theme “ITC for Sustainable Development”, WITFOR 2009 will provide IT enterprises good chances to introduce their ICT software products, and human resource.

Particularly, the organizer has finalized the Website www.ictnetworking.vn to help enterprises seek their partners.

It is expected that over 1,500 representatives and experts of IT giants from 70 countries and territories will join the event.

So far, over 100 foreign delegates and enterprises from Japan, Republic of Korea, Thailand, China, Canada and France have registered to participate in WITFOR 2009.

The forum promises to lay an important foundation for policy makers, scientists, experts, IT businesses as well as relevant individuals in Việt Nam and all over the world to obtain an accurate vision and assessment on the current ICT development and, thus, make more efforts to bridge the development gap between developed and developing countries.

The Vietnamese Government considers ICT a key industry and a basic foundation for the country’s socio-economic development and e-Government construction.
