The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Le Thi Thu Hang, made the above statement on April 27 in response to reporters’ query regarding the organization of the Inter-Korean Summit.

The Summit has significantly contributed to peace and stability in the region and the world, including the acceleration of denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, Hang said.

Viet Nam believes that the RoK, the DPRK and relevant parties will continue efforts to promote dialogues and active outcomes they have reached over the past time to lay a long-term foundation for peace, stability and development on the peninsula and the region, meeting aspirations of people of the two Koreas, and for the sake of the international community, she said./.
