The above-mentioned is one of purposes of the E-commerce Development Master Plan in the 2010-2015 Period which was lately approved by the Government chief.

According to the Master Plan, by 2015, 80% of big corporations will have websites which are regularly updated to advertize their operations and products.

In addition, 70% of big enterprises and 30% small and medium-sized ones will access to e-commerce websites to purchase and sell commodities and services.

Supplying public services

The Master Plan sets a target to provide public services on production and business in line with Việt Nam’s international commitments to non-paper based trade in the areas of tax, customs, export and import, investment, and business registration.

Information of State-funded projects and the bidding in Governmental procurement will be made public.

Enterprises will be able to search for information about business operations and activities via a database which is provided by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Investment and Planning and other relevant agencies./.
