VN listed among world’s top 15 exporters of agricultural, forestry, aquatic products

VGP – It is estimated that Viet Nam may gain US$40 billion from exporting agriculture-aquaculture-forestry products in 2018, making the country listed among top 15 exporters of agricultural, forestry, aquatic products in the world, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The exports of agricultural, forestry, aquatic products witness high growths in the 2012-2018 period. Viet Nam sets the target of earning US$43 billion from exporting agriculture-aquaculture-forestry products by 2019.

Viet Nam exports agricultural, forestry, aquatic products to more than 180 nations and territories around the world. In 2018, the exports of these products to key markets saw high growths such as China (up 3.6%), the U.S. (up 9.4%), Japan (up 7.1%), ASEAN (up 11%) and the Republic of Korea (up 29.4%).
