VN joins Saint Petersburg Int’l Economic Forum

VGP - Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Economic Affairs Nguyen Van Binh is attending the 22nd Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

More than 10,000 delegates, including representatives of large corporations, high-ranking leaders, Government chiefs, Deputy PMs, ministers and governors from 120 nations are joining the event, which is organized from May 24-26.  

With the theme of an 'Economy of Trust', the forum consists of four main topics on “The Global Economy in an Era of Change”, “Russia: Utilizing Growth Potential”, “Leadership Technologies” and “Human Capital in the Digital Economy”. 

On the sidelines of the forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with leaders from 40 large investment funds in the world. 

In 2017, the event gathered more than 14,000 delegates from 143 nations. A total number of 400 deals, worth nearly US$32,5 billion were inked.
