VN is ready to support Myanmar, says Deputy PM

VGP – Deputy PM, FM Phạm Gia Khiêm received the delegation of Myanmar’s Development and Solidarity Association headed by Secretary of the Association’s Central Committee Kyan Hsan on August 5.

Acting on behalf of his government, Mr. Kyan Hsan who is also the Minister of Information, thanked the Vietnamese Government and people’s wholehearted assistance to Myanmar’s cause of national construction and development as well as to victims of Cyclone Nagris.

Myanmar wants to strengthen its friendship and close cooperation with Việt Nam, especially in planting and processing rubber, said the guest.

Deputy PM Khiêm highly spoke of positive political changes in Myanmar, considering them as important foundations for the Southeast Asian neighbor to march to prosperity.

The host expressed his confidence that, the bilateral ties between the two countries will be vigorously developed.

Việt Nam is always a good friend who is willing to support Myanmar to overcome all difficulties and challenges, concluded Deputy PM Khiêm.
