VGP – Viet Nam-Israel trade value hit approximately US$899 million over the recent 11 months of 2019, of which Viet Nam enjoyed the trade surplus of US$401 million, according to the Viet Nam Trade Representative in Israel on December 3.

Vietnamese trade counselor in Israel Le Thai Hoa said that Viet Nam’s exports and imports from Israel reached US$715 million and US$274 million, respectively.

Hoa said that a number of enterprises from Israel are interested in cooperative activities with Viet Nam in fields of investment, start-up, application of science and technology in production, cyber security, telecommunications, information technology, fintech, agriculture and labor.

Some firms from Israel intend to build plants in Viet Nam to produce commodities through moving production plants from neighboring countries to Viet Nam to reduce expenditures.
