VN congratulates Russia on National Day
VGP – Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory message to President of the Russian Federation V. Putin on the occasion of Russia Day (June 12).
On this occasion, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan separately cabled messages of congratulations to PM D. Medvedev, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, and State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
In these messages, the Vietnamese leaders wrote: “The Viet Nam-Russia traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership have continued attaining encouraging achievements as the two countries marked the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic ties”.
“On the basis of determinations of leaders and people, the Viet Nam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership would attain practical achievements and contribute to fostering the fine relations between the two countries.”
On the occasion, Deputy PM and FM sent his greetings to Foreign Minister S. Lavrov./.
