VN condoles on death of former Japan Communist Party leader

VNGOP – Việt Nam offers deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Kenji Miyamoto, former Chairman of the Japan Communist Party, on his death.

Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng said on July 20 when answering correspondents' question about Việt Nam's response to the death of the former leader of the Japan Communist Party.

"It is Mr. Kenji Miyamoto who initiated and enhanced the relationship between his party and the Communist Party of Việt Nam," said the Spokesman, emphasizing that the Japanese politician was always a close friend and comrade of the Vietnamese people and Communist Party.
