VN concerns over developments in eastern Ukraine

VGP- Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Hai Binh said on April 17 that Viet Nam always follows the situation in Ukraine and is concerned over complicated developments in eastern Ukraine.

The spokesman responded to reporters’ question on Viet Nam’s stance on Ukraine’s current situation.

‘We call relevant parties to restraint from using force and taking any action to make the situation more complicated and badly affect people, seeking solutions through peaceful dialogues to meet legitimate interests of all parties and people, for peace, stability and development of Ukraine and the region’, said Binh.

Reuters quoted Ukraine's interior minister Arsen Avakov saying on April 17 that three attackers were killed, 13 wounded and 63 detained in shooting that broke out overnight in the town of Mariupol on the Sea of Azov.
